Abstract
<jats:p>Although the discipline of architecture has been shaped by technological breakthroughs throughout history, the digital transformation we are experiencing today carries a much deeper meaning than simply the introduction of a new set of tools. This process marks what Mario Carpo (2017) calls the “second digital transformation,” where data becomes not only a means of representation but also a constitutive element guiding design processes. This transformation represents a shift in an epistemological paradigm based on how architectural knowledge is produced and translated into space. Traditional production practices are giving way to a cognitive symbiosis model where human cognitive processes and algorithmic systems are intertwined (Clark, 2003).</jats:p>
