Abstract

The article addresses the challenge of processing gold-bearing arsenic ores. It presents the main principles, characteristics, and application of the technology for primary processing of gold ores containing arsenic. Several different options for the preliminary processing of difficult-to-treat ores are examined. These options include: oxidative roasting, hydrometallurgical treatment, bacterial oxidation, as well as other preliminary processing methods such as vacuum sublimation of arsenic, sublimation followed by dissolution, and electrochemical oxidation. The article also forecasts future development trends in this field.
