Abstract

<jats:p>In the context of rapid digital transformation, the introduction of innovative technologies into the educational process of universities is of particular importance. This article is devoted to the analysis of the impact of digital tools on the formation of managerial and leadership competencies of students, as well as on improving the effectiveness of teachers' teaching activities. The research used the methods of questionnaires, interviews, and analysis of scientific and methodological sources. It was attended by students, teachers and specialists in the field of information and communication technologies from Kazakhstani universities. The results of the study showed that the use of virtual simulators, online courses, open educational resources and adaptive learning platforms significantly increases student engagement, promotes the development of critical thinking, independence and communication skills. Special attention is paid to national education digitalization programs in Kazakhstan, such as Digital Kazakhstan and Information Kazakhstan 2022, which actively develop distance learning platforms and electronic educational resources. It has been established that digital technologies provide flexibility, accessibility and individualization of the educational process, contribute to the formation of digital competencies among both students and teachers. The authors emphasize the need for strategic integration of digital solutions into the higher education system, taking into account the needs of students and the requirements of the modern labor market. It is concluded that the digitalization of education is a key factor in the modernization of higher education and an essential condition for the training of competitive specialists in the era of the digital economy.</jats:p>
