<jats:p>This article analyzes the issues of improving the health system of the rural population in the Republic of Uzbekistan, in particular the stages of development of legal foundations, processes of strengthening the material and technical base of rural medical institutions, as well as existing problems. The study explores issues related to public policy, investment projects, the activities of family polyclinics, QVPS and faps, as well as the accessibility and quality of medical services for villagers. Based on the analysis, practical proposals for improving the system have been put forward.</jats:p>
