Abstract
<jats:p>The main essence of the article is the existing problems of socialization of adolescent students and ways to eliminate them, new approaches, models and scientific ideas organized for their implementation on scientific grounds. It is explained that the essence of the activity of the student self-government body is to teach a number of students the basics of democratic relations in society, self-government in collective and independent life. To organize a self-government body, it is necessary to collect the necessary methodological literature in advance, determine the thematic content of meetings and draw up a work plan. In the result of the study, it is possible to come to the conclusion that the socialization of youth can change depending on their own character, personality characteristics, the influence of the environment, school, social society and the sociological basis of the school where the person is studying.</jats:p>
