STUDYING THE IMPACT OF THE 2015 EUROPEAN GAMES ON THE POPULARIZATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF MASS SPORTS IN AZERBAIJAN (IN THE CONTEXT OF THE TENTH ANNIVERSARY OF THIS SPORTING EVENT)

<jats:p>The article analyzes the impact of the first European Games held in Baku in 2015 on the development of mass sports in Azerbaijan. The authors consider the ten-year period after the Olympics, assessing the successes achieved, the difficulties encountered and the long-term effect of the event on physical education and sports in the country. The focus is on the construction and use of modern sports infrastructure, increasing public interest in regular sports, promoting an active lifestyle, as well as the role of the media and government programs in popularizing sports.</jats:p>
