Abstract
<jats:p>Policing in Indonesia Volume 2 continues the effort to document, analyse, and reflect on the development of policing in Indonesia through rigorous scholarly engagement. Building on the foundation established in the first volume, this book presents a collection of studies that engage with contemporary policing challenges from institutional, legal, technological, and human resource perspectives. The chapters in this volume examine issues such as public trust, digital policing, counterterrorism, professional standards, human resource development, and organisational governance. Written by police officers and scholars with direct experience in policing practice and academic research, the contributions reflect a growing capacity within the Indonesian National Police to engage critically with policy, operations, and institutional reform. This volume positions policing as a knowledge based profession that requires continuous learning, evidence-informed decision making, and reflective practice. It highlights the role of education and research in strengthening professionalism, accountability, and public confidence in law enforcement institutions.
