<jats:p>Students develop their research, science writing and communication skills through completion of four stages of a single project evaluating mining a critical mineral prospect through the geological characteristics of their chosen deposit; environmental and social impacts of mining; how mining will negatively and positively impact the UN Sustainable Development Goals and overall whether they recommend their prospect be taken forward to mining.</jats:p>
