Abstract
This article explores the interpretation of poetic arts in Ataullah Husayni Tarazi’s renowned treatise “Funun al-Balagha” (The Arts of Eloquence), highlighting their role and significance in classical poetry. It analyzes how these artistic devices enrich poetic content and effectively convey the poet’s innermost emotions to the reader. Furthermore, the ancient roots of these literary tools are traced back to the sacred pages of the “Avesto”, the Orkhon-Yenisei inscriptions, and the rich tradition of Turkic folklore. Drawing upon poetic fragments from Mahmoud al-Kashgari’s “Divan Lughat al-Turk”, the paper sheds light on the earliest manifestations and evolutionary genesis of these poetic devices
