Abstract

<jats:p>Dyslipidemia is a condition characterized by abnormal levels of lipids (fats) in the blood, particularly cholesterol and triglycerides. It may manifest as an increase in “bad” cholesterol (LDL-C) or triglyceride levels and a decrease in “good” cholesterol (HDL-C) levels. Long-term dyslipidemia can lead to the development of atherosclerosis and cardiovascular diseases.</jats:p>
