Abstract

In patients with myocardial infarction, a significant decrease in symptoms of acute renal failure was noted during 3 months of follow-up. This positive trend is believed to be due to the effects of angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors and angiotensin receptor antagonists included in the standard treatment regimen.
