Abstract

Agriculture should be considered one of the fundamental pillars of food security, social stability, and sustainable development. In addition, climate change and the resulting food crises, soil erosion, drought, and biodiversity loss also affect agricultural activity. For this reason, agriculture is not only about production; it is also about sovereignty, security, and the future. The protection of the natural environment is a fundamental right, included among third-generation rights, and is an activity that must be carried out as a consequence of individuals' right to live in a healthy environment. The papers prepared within the scope of the study titled Agricultural Activity and the Protection of the Natural Environment in Administrative Law as a Strategic Area consider the relationship between agriculture and the environment not only from a public law perspective but also in the areas where public and private law intersect. In this context, academics working in the field of administrative law, as well as those from other areas of public law and private law, have contributed to enriching the study with their papers offering diverse perspectives. Due to the timeliness of its subject matter, its multifaceted perspective, and its international dimension, the work serves as a valuable resource not only for academics but also for administrators, the private sector, and individuals interested in the topic.
