Abstract
<jats:p>This scientific-analytical article provides an analytical assessment of a number of technologies and methods aimed at addressing current environmental problems related to waste. Various methods of recycling household and industrial waste are noted. In the concluding part of the analytical material, the advantages of the thermal method over the methods of disposal and neutralization of waste are highlighted. It is emphasized that this optimized method causes minimal harm to the environment and at the same time ensures economic and ecological efficiency by using waste as an energy resource.</jats:p>
