Abstract
The article highlights the issues of increasing agricultural efficiency through the implementation of modern digital and information technologies. In particular, it analyzes the potential of applying artificial intelligence, drones, robots, and autopilot systems in the agricultural sector. It is emphasized that the implementation of the “Smart agriculture” system enables the rational use of land and water resources, reduces labor and economic costs, and improves crop yield and product quality. Based on the Chinese experience, the economic efficiency of using agrodrones, automated irrigation systems, and autopilot-based machinery is substantiated. According to the research results, the introduction of smart technologies can reduce labor costs by up to 60%, water and fertilizer consumption by 25% and 3%, respectively, while increasing yield by 16%. The article also presents proposals and recommendations for developing a “smart farming” system under the conditions of Uzbekistan.
