Abstract

<jats:p>This article examines the influence of varieties on the chlorophyll content in the leaves of the non-traditional fibre crop jute under typical grey soil conditions in the Tashkent region. It was found that the amount of chlorophyll pigment in the leaves of the elongated-fruited variety Corchorus olitorius was higher than the amount of chlorophyll pigment in the leaves of the large-fruited variety Corchorus capsularus.</jats:p>
