Abstract

This article examines the impact of seed sowing timing and mineral fertilizer application rates on winter rye grain and straw yield. The study was conducted in the field from 2019 to 2022. The experiment consisted of 18 treatments arranged in a single tier and replicated three times. Under Tadzhpib conditions, perennial ryegrass varieties "Vakhshskaya 116" and "NS Savo" were sown at three sowing dates (September 20, October 1, and October 10) with the application of three types of mineral fertilizers (N150P105K75 kg/ha, N180P125K90 kg/ha, N210P150K105 kg/ha) and the addition of honeydew. As a result of the experiment, it was established that the optimal time for sowing seeds of winter rye of the “Vakhshskaya 116” variety is October 1, and the optimal time for sowing seeds of the “NS Savo” variety is October 10.
