<jats:p>This article examines modern methods of bean (Vicia faba L.) breeding in southern regions. It presents the results of the selection of productive bean (Vicia faba L.) planting materials resistant to heat and drought, and provides recommendations for further breeding steps for the selected samples.</jats:p>
