Abstract

The presented work presents the results of a comprehensive analysis of the final indicators characterizing the level of conservation and reproductive qualities of the studied goose population. In the context of the intensification of modern goose breeding, the priority task is not only to increase the productivity of poultry, but also to simultaneously increase the efficiency of feed conversion. Based on the identified issues, there is an objective need to improve the technological regulations for the maintenance of the parent herd, while taking into account breed characteristics and their impact on final production indicators is of key importance. During the research, a targeted assessment of the optimal planting density was carried out on the basis of a set of criteria, including the age parameters of the bird, the dynamics of live weight, as well as the design features and microclimatic conditions of a specific type of poultry house. Experimentally, it was found that the most widespread consequences of incorrect calculation of planting standards in industrial conditions are limb pathologies, a general decrease in livestock viability, a drop in productivity and reproduction, as well as a significant increase in the volume of feed consumed. As a result of the identification and experimental substantiation of the rational planting density of geese, statistically significant egg production parameters and positive dynamics of live weight were achieved, which confirms the effectiveness of the proposed technological solutions.
