Abstract
<jats:p>The contribution of individuals to the development of Kazakh linguistics, the definition of its significance, the identification of pressing issues, and the laying of the foundation for new theories is exceptional. Because the creators of science, its developers, and those who use it for the benefit of the people are individual, talented individuals. Therefore, as a result of studying the scientific heritage of scholars who contributed to the development of Kazakh linguistics, a common history of Kazakh linguistics will be created. Continuing and studying the history of linguistics is crucial. In this regard, the study of the linguistic heritage of one of the leaders of Kazakh spirituality, J.Aimauytov, is of paramount importance. This is because J.Aimautov's theoretical conclusions about language are an important contribution to the history of personology in Kazakh linguistics. The article presents J.Aimauytov's thoughts on the role of the Kazakh language in teaching subjects, the importance of mastering language, the close connection between language and thinking, the unity of the path of learning and the path of learning language, as well as his scientific views on dialectology and terminology. The main purpose of the article is to comprehensively analyze the linguistic heritage of J. Aimauytov, to determine his place in the formation of Kazakh linguistics, and to reveal the significance of the writer's conclusions on language. The methodological basis of the article is grounded in general linguistic theories, as well as in the theoretical conclusions of such researchers as A.Baitursynov, K.Zhubanov, E.Omarov, Kh.Dosmukhamedov, and N.Torekulov, who proposed new perspectives on the teaching of the Kazakh language and its lexicology during that period. Although the article is primarily descriptive in nature, methods of analysis, generalization, systematization, and inference were employed in examining the author’s views. The results and scientific significance of the study highlight the importance and relevance of Zhusipbek Aimauytov’s linguistic heritage during his creative period, in subsequent stages, and in modern Kazakh linguistics, as well as its continuity with contemporary scientific research. The findings of the article can be used as supplementary material in the study and teaching of the writer’s works, both in theoretical and practical contexts.</jats:p>
