Abstract

<jats:p>This research work examines modern technical solutions for the faсades of industrial buildings undergoing reconstruction, with a particular focus on energy efficiency and safety requirements. The primary objective of upgrading industrial faсade systems is to reduce heat loss, enhance the structural durability of building envelopes, and fully comply with safety standards characteristic of industrial environments. The study analyzes the effectiveness of multilayer thermal insulation systems, ventilated faсade structures, fire-resistant materials, and protective coatings. Additionally, the durability of faсade elements under various climatic impacts, their corrosion resistance, and maintenance costs are thoroughly evaluated. Implementing energy-efficient materials during the renovation process not only improves the operational performance of buildings but also strengthens industrial safety and minimizes negative environmental impacts. The renovation of industrial buildings is currently one of the most important engineering tasks aimed at reducing the energy consumption of production facilities, lowering operational costs, and enhancing safety levels. Upgrading building faсades is a key direction in energy conservation, as the faсade system accounts for a significant portion of a building’s heat loss. This paper examines modern technical solutions for the modernization of industrial faсades in terms of energy efficiency and safety requirements. The findings of the study provide practical value for modernization projects within industrial infrastructure and contribute to the development of more sustainable and safe construction practices.</jats:p>
