Abstract
<jats:p>The article refers to the problem of organization of military-patriotic education of learners. It gives a Comparative analysis of the special features of the organization of military-patriotic education of students in different foreign countries as well as in the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Artsakh. We have emphasized the organization of military-sport and patriotic competitions and contests in intra-school, inter-school, between public educational institutions of intra-community and inter-community. During the organization of military sports games, reference is made not only to the strengthening of physical training of boys and girls but also to the acquisition of relevant knowledge about the homeland, patriotism, state and national symbols. The article highlights the need for individual words, terms, and their comprehensive explanations. In the process of organizing learners’ patriotic and especially military-patriotic education, the imperative directions of work organization are pointed out. The article touches upon the need to expand the views and beliefs formed towards national values, increasing responsibility, patriotic manifestations, the need to form a responsible and respectful attitude towards the state and nation, culture and historical past, the traditions of the native country, and for this purpose, the need to organize thematic exercises and events.</jats:p>
