Abstract
<jats:p>The article determines that subject teachers and class teachers must be familiar with the pedagogical and psychological conditions for the development of independence in order to effectively form independence in adolescents to achieve their cognitive independence, educational independence and intellectual independence. A person capable of independent reasoning, independent thinking and independent activity does not encounter difficulties. Therefore, solving such an important problem as the formation of independence of adolescents should be the focus of attention of teaching staff.
