Abstract

<jats:p>The article examines the artistic representation of women in modern Azerbaijani literature through the works of Anar, Kamal Abdulla, and Elchin Huseynbeyli. Female characters are analyzed as carriers of psychological and philosophical meaning rather than merely social figures. The study highlights different narrative strategies used by the authors. The transformation of female imagery in contemporary prose is discussed in detail. Cultural and national values reflected through female characters are emphasized. The article confirms the importance of the theme of women in modern Azerbaijani literary discourse. Key words: Azerbaijani woman, women’s policy, social development, gender equality</jats:p>
