Abstract
<jats:p>New technologies employed in intelligence, seriously affect the preparation and conduct of military actions. They in general, and the artificial intelligence (AI), in particular, significantly raise the efficiency of existing weapon systems, thus dispelling the “fog of war”. By means of artificial intelligence, it is possible to analyze texts in different languages; identify interlocutors and their moods; identify individuals; based on data analysis, predict the behavior of individuals or groups, as well as the development of political and social events. AI can also be used in disinformation video recordings with imitation of people’s voices, images and texts (Deepfake). AI is becoming increasingly significant in the processes of organizing and waging information wars; perceiving various strata and communities of the enemy state, and studying and subsequently manipulating it. Hence, the huge volumes of diverse data received are real challenges of information overload, for which AI can offer effective solutions. Achieving and maintaining information superiority over the enemy, in addition to developing AI-based intelligence tools and technologies, are the key to success in future wars.</jats:p>
