Abstract

Ensuring the combat readiness of the army is primarily determined by the way the state organizes the upbringing and education of its future servicemen, in particular, how effectively the system of initial military training functions. To provide for the conscripts’ rapid adaptation to military service, it is important to review the content of work with the youth of pre-conscription age, taking into account both the psychological features determined by their age characteristics, and some other factors mutually affecting this process. Consistent with this, one of the important tasks of modern Armenian psychology and pedagogy is to shape state-centric thinking in students. In that respect, it is necessary to form in the younger generations sound stimuli for selfless service to the cause of protecting the Motherland, and the interests of their native state, as well as the necessary knowledge that will enable them to take part in notable state and public processes.
