Abstract

<jats:p>The article is devoted to the assessment of business value, particularly focusing on the application of modern technological approaches within the framework of market economy theory. It addresses the issues related to choosing methods for evaluating a company’s value and the necessity of combining alternative valuation methods with traditional ones. The development of digital and other modern technologies has created new conditions for the collection and analysis of economic data, enabling a more accurate understanding of a company’s potential and forecasting its future development. The article reviews various approaches to evaluating business value, both from theoretical perspectives and practical implementations, as well as the influence of financial and economic indicators. It emphasizes the need to consider not only financial indicators but also other external and internal factors that affect the company’s overall efficiency and competitiveness. The study also underlines the importance of information technologies and the capabilities they offer in improving valuation quality. The research questions are the priority of introducing blockchain technologies to assess the value of a company, in order to reduce management costs and ensure transparency, accuracy and security.</jats:p>
