Abstract
The university textbook Operational Analysis: Theory and Application provides a comprehensive overview of the theoretical foundations and practical applications of operational analysis methods as a modern tool for management and decision-making. The publication is intended primarily for students of technical, economic, and management fields, as well as for professionals seeking effective quantitative approaches to solving complex problems. The content focuses on key areas of operational analysis: linear programming, project planning, logistics applications, game theory, queuing theory, and the theory of renewal and renewal process management. Each chapter combines theoretical explanations with practical examples and exercises, enabling readers to develop the ability to apply methods to real-world problems in industry, business, and public administration. The aim of the publication is not only to provide systematic knowledge of operational analysis methods and algorithms but also to encourage students and professionals to actively apply them in decision-making processes. The textbook thus represents a significant contribution to bridging theory and practice and to fostering analytical thinking in the field of organizational management.
