Abstract
<jats:p>This article provides a scientifically grounded analysis of the role of educational tourism within the global tourism system, as well as its economic, social, and cultural significance and development trends. It highlights educational tourism as a strategic sector contributing to human capital development, strengthening soft power, and promoting sustainable economic growth. In addition, the study analyzes global market dynamics and statistical data on the flow of international students in Uzbekistan. The research identifies existing challenges and presents evidence-based conclusions and proposals aimed at addressing these issues and further developing the sector. </jats:p>
