<jats:p>This article analyzes the potential of pilgrimage tourism in Surkhandarya region, sacred sites and historical monuments in the region. In particular, the religious and cultural significance of such places as the Hakim At-Termizi complex and the Sultan Saodat complex is highlighted. The article considers the directions of developing pilgrimage tourism and the issues of effective use of the region's potential. </jats:p>
