Abstract
<jats:p>This article provides a scientific analysis of the significance of the tourism sector in the global economy, particularly its role in economic growth and employment. The study examines the development of tourism infrastructure, attraction of investments, digitalization, and the implementation of modern management mechanisms through the examples of Uzbekistan and the United Arab Emirates. Furthermore, it analyzes the state policy aimed at tourism development in the Republic of Uzbekistan, including the content and essence of the “Uzbekistan–2030” Strategy and regulatory legal documents related to the tourism sector. The article also substantiates the prospects for enhancing the competitiveness of tourism by adapting international experience to the national tourism system. </jats:p>
