<jats:p>In the context of formation of national mechanisms for state recognition, the article examines and addresses certain aspects of harmonizing and aligning international and national mechanisms for state recognition, as well as specific problems in this process. At the same time, it concludes that the issue of state recognition, situated at the intersection of international law and politics, necessitates the establishment of a domestic legal mechanism.</jats:p>
