Abstract

The purpose of the study is to scientifically substantiate the activity-axiological approach of students in Chinese primary schools based on the author's experimental program. Research methods and organization. Analysis of scientific and methodological literature and online resources, surveys, interviews with students and parents, anthropometry (height, body mass, chest circumference), and testing were conducted. A longitudinal study (2020–2024) was carried out in eight primary schools in China. The experimental group engaged with a program that combined extracurricular training (twice a week) and experimental physical education lessons (four times a week); the control group followed the standard curriculum. This ensured the validity of the comparative analysis of the effectiveness of the methodologies. Research results and conclusions. The effectiveness of the activity-axiological approach in educating Chinese primary school students has been proven based on an authorial experimental program. Taking into account the issues of low physical activity and insufficient attention to the health of students, a program was developed that takes into account national characteristics. The results of the experiment confirmed improvements in physical qualities, motivation, and social development of the students.
