Abstract

<jats:p>The article examines the statistical indicators of professional female golfers in tournaments of the Ladies European Tour (LET) and the LET Access Series (LETAS), which is a second-tier tour in relation to the LET, reflecting the level of success in their execution of technical elements and tactical techniques in gameplay. The purpose of the study is to identify the components of the performance of underperforming teams that adversely affect their athletic results compared to the leaders, based on the analysis of statistics. Research methods and organization. Methods for analyzing the performance indicators of professional female golfers have been employed, utilizing mathematical statistical methods. The proposed approach enables athletes to identify the strengths and weaknesses of their game, based not on subjective feelings, but on objective metrics, which facilitates the formulation of an accurate picture of the player's skill balance. Research results and conclusions. The study revealed that the tour outsiders are not inferior to the leaders in terms of physical fitness and levels of psycho-emotional stability. The results obtained allow for the conclusion regarding the necessity to improve the technical aspects of training for the lagging athletes in order to achieve results on par with the tour leaders.</jats:p>
