Abstract
<jats:p>The present article discusses in detail the current state of the judicial system of the Republic of Armenia and issues related to its improvement and development. It notes that previous "reforms" related to the judicial system did not produce the expected results, as they were implemented piecemeal and lacked consistency and justification. The article recommends undertaking judicial reform systematically and comprehensively, considering the contemporary societal opinion regarding this institution.</jats:p>
