Abstract

<jats:p>Greener Approach to Nanomaterials: Sustainable Perspectives book refers to a thorough and multidisciplinary method that uses cutting-edge chemistry, materials science, and technology to address environmental and sustainability issues. Promoting sustainable practices in chemical processes is the main goal, with a focus on using renewable resources, minimizing waste, and reducing the impact on the environment. Additionally, the title seeks to promote the development of sustainable technologies such waste reduction procedures, cleaner industrial techniques, and renewable energy systems. In order to create comprehensive answers to urgent global sustainability issues, interdisciplinary cooperation between chemists, material scientists, engineers, and environmental scientists is encouraged. Research on green synthesis and procedures that emphasize energy efficiency, the utilization of renewable feedstocks, and the production of little waste are all included in this field's scope. It addresses the creation of renewable and sustainable materials, environmentally friendly catalytic processes, and energy-saving technologies that lessen environmental impact. To close the loop on material consumption, improvements in waste minimization, recycling, and material recovery are also investigated. In an effort to reduce their ecological imprint, the field also uses life-cycle analysis to look at how materials and processes affect the environment. Lastly, the importance of education and policy in advancing sustainability and green chemistry is examined, with a focus on creating methods to foster a sustainable culture in science and engineering. Greener Nanomaterials Approach: "Sustainable Perspectives" emphasizes the shift from conventional, energy-intensive chemical synthesis techniques to environmentally friendly, biogenic routes. It focuses on creating non-toxic, biocompatible, and commercially viable nanomaterials using renewable resources, such as microorganisms, plant extracts, and agricultural waste. Traditional manufacturing uses dangerous reducing agents and poisonous chemical solvents. Biopolymers, polyphenols from tea or winery waste, and natural extracts are used as reducing and capping agents in the more environmentally friendly method. Sustainable nanomaterials reduce the usage of corrosive chemicals during treatment and are very successful in controlling air or soil pollution, purifying water, and treating wastewater.
