Abstract
Malpractice is harm resulting from an illegal or wrongful act committed during the practice of a profession. When this harm occurs in a way that compromises a person’s physical integrity, it is considered within the scope of clinical forensic medicine. When such harm occurs during medical procedures, it is called medical malpractice, which is also considered within the scope of clinical forensic medicine. Furthermore, illegal practices, often perceived as affordable and readily available but frequently carried out by unauthorized individuals, can also cause physical or psychological harm to individuals worldwide. In this chapter, it is aimed to review crimes in the medical field, from unauthorized practices to malpractice.
