Abstract
<p>A time of significant social change is also affecting the education system and hence teacher education. For physical education as a school subject, this means considering an increasingly sedentary lifestyle, growing cultural diversity and digitalization, as well as the accompanying stress, in the education and further training of physical education teachers. This requires new, innovative teaching and learning materials and practical measures for the three phases of PE teacher training. This book presents empirical analyses of such materials and measures. The aim is to inform lecturers in the three phases of teacher education, physical education teachers or other multipliers and to provide impulses for further development. With contributions by Thomas Abel | Romy-Lia Amelung | Fabienne Bartsch | Michael Fahlenbock | Lars Fischer | Petra Guardiera | Ulrike Hartmann | Anna Hollinger | Jens Kleinert | Helga Leineweber | Fabian Lukac | Juliane Mackenbrock | Fabian Pels | André Poweleit | Konstantin Rehlinghaus | Teresa Schkade (vormals Odipo) | Karsten Schul | Kira Tebrügge | Laura Isabell Thomas, M.A. | Birte von Haaren-Mack | Julia Wolf | Nina Zammit</p>
