Abstract
<p> Stefan Nägele is one of the leading advisors to employees in management positions. In addition to his more than 40 years of experience as a lawyer, he is known as the long-standing editor of the handbook on dismissal protection law (‘HaKo’) and as the author of numerous specialist publications on labour law. He has made a special contribution by organising the Blickpunkt Arbeitsrecht (Focus on Labour Law) lecture series for over 25 years, which was initiated jointly by the President of the Federal Labour Court, Inken Gallner, the Director of the Heilbronn Labour Court, Dr Carsten Witt, and Stefan Nägele, and has since contributed to a regular professional exchange between judges, lawyers, trade unions and associations outside the courtroom. On the occasion of his 70th birthday, representatives from the legal profession and academia, as well as other companions of Stefan Nägele, have compiled this commemorative publication. The work includes contributions on highly topical issues, particularly from the field of individual and collective labour law.
