Die Weimarer Jugendgesetzgebung unter besonderer Berücksichtigung von Reichsjugendwohlfahrts- und Jugendgerichtsgesetz

<p>This study analyzes the development of public child and youth welfare services and juvenile criminal proceedings, drawing in particular on an in-depth examination of the respective reform processes through an evaluation of contemporary sources. It focuses on the substantive provisions of the RJWG of 1922 (now: SGB VIII) and the JGG of 1923, and demonstrates how both laws, serving as models for a new social order, have had a lasting influence on contemporary law. The analysis takes into account the development of social pedagogy as a discipline and field of practice, and examines whether and how the laws under study and social pedagogy have influenced one another in their respective developments.</p>
