Abstract
<p>This volume contains selected papers from the 2024 "Plattform Privatheit" conference. The contributions analyse the impact of digital infrastructures on freedom in the modern world, exploring ways in which free-dom can be safeguarded in an increasingly digital society. The authors analyse the legal framework, power relations, and technological developments that contribute to understanding the impact of digital infrastruc-tures on individual and collective freedom. Combining expertise from law, computer science, and the social sciences, the authors' contributions are aimed at researchers, practitioners, and policymakers. With contributions byLorenz Baum | Andreas Baur | Leopold Beer | Felix Bieker | Andreas Bischof | Felix Büning | Marwan El-Rifaai | Florian Franke | Michael Friedewald | Christian L.
