Verletzte von Sexualdelikten im Strafverfahren

<p>With the 3rd Victims' Rights Reform Act (3. OpferRRG) passed on 21 December 2015, there has been a legal entitlement to free psychosocial assistance for particularly vulnerable victims since 1 January 2017 in accordance with § 406g of the Code of Criminal Procedure (StPO). As there is a lack of research on the effects of psychosocial assistance in criminal proceedings and on the experience of those involved in the proceedings, these questions were examined in greater depth in this study. As part of a qualitative approach, 20 interviews were conducted with experts from the fields of psychosocial assistance and the police and judiciary (judges, public prosecutors, lawyers).</p>
