ERIC

<p>International organizations in the research sector have traditionally emerged through international treaties between different nation states. High time commitment and costs are offset by greater financial stability and sometimes ground-breaking research achievements. The legal form of the ERIC is an attempt to enable intergovernmental research cooperation in the supranational context of the Union in a time of ever new global challenges. </p>
