<jats:p>РЕЗЮМЕ В статье на основе анализа фактического материала обосновывается, что вопросы функционирования национальных школ армянской диаспоры, школьное образование и воспитание молодого поколения в национальном духе являются повседневной заботой Католикоса Всех Армян Гарегина II. В статье показывается, что, будучи под сильным и постоянным культурным воздействием разных цивилизаций, для сохранения национальной идентичности в армянской диаспоре предстоятель Армянской Церкви считает императивным организацию полноценного национального образования. Эти вопросы отражены в посланиях благословения, директивах к епархиям и иных документах. Одновременно с целью продвигать национальное образование в армянской диаспоре, во время Первосвятительских визитов Католикосом перед главами епархии ставились действенные практические задачи. Во время Архипастырских визитов постоянно посещались национальные школы, проходили встречи с учениками, преподавателями и благодетелями. Во время бесед побуждал продвигать национальное образование, бережно хранить национальный язык и многовековую национальную культуру. Одним из проявлений бережного отношения Католикоса Всех Армян к национальным школам и национальному воспитанию диаспоры является постоянное обсуждение этих вопросов во время многочисленных встреч со школьниками, молодежными организациями, преподавателями и паломниками из разных епархий в Первопрестольном Св. Эчмиадзине. SUMMARY Based on the analysis of factual material, the article substantiates that the issues of functioning of the national schools of the Armenian Diaspora, school education and upbringing of the young generation in the national spirit have always been considered the primary task of His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians. The article shows that in order to preserve the national identity, the Head of the Armenian Church considers it imperative to organize a full-fledged national education in the Armenian Diaspora being under the strong and constant cultural influence of different civilizations. These issues are reflected in the messages of blessing, directives to dioceses and other documents. At the same time, with the aim of promoting national education in the Armenian Diaspora, the Catholicos set practical and effective tasks for the Primates of the Dioceses. During his Pontifical visits, the Catholicos constantly visited national schools, held meetings with students, teachers and benefactors. During the conversations, he encouraged to promote national education, to cherish the native language and the centuries-old national culture. One of the manifestations of His Holiness' careful attitude towards national schools and national education in the Diaspora is the constant discussion of these issues during his numerous meetings with schoolchildren, youth organizations, teachers and pilgrims from different dioceses, who visited the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.</jats:p>
