Abstract
<jats:p>В статье анализируется гуманитарная политика Российской Федерации на Ближнем Востоке в контексте исторической преемственности, современной международной конкуренции и трансформации мировой политической системы. Рассматривается специфика российского подхода к гуманитарному взаимодействию, основанного на отказе от гегемонистских и универсалистских моделей влияния, уважении суверенитета партнёров и ориентации на долгосрочные формы сотрудничества. Особое внимание уделяется советскому наследию в сфере образования, науки и культуры, а также его роли в формировании современных гуманитарных практик России в регионе. Анализируются ключевые направления гуманитарной политики — образовательное и научное сотрудничество, культурная дипломатия, гуманитарная помощь и межрелигиозный диалог — в сопоставлении с подходами США, Европейского союза и Китая. Выявляются основные ограничения и структурные вызовы гуманитарной политики России на Ближнем Востоке, а также оцениваются её стратегические перспективы в условиях перехода к многополярному миру.</jats:p> <jats:p>The article examines Russia’s humanitarian policy in the Middle East through the lenses of historical continuity, contemporary geopolitical competition, and the transformation of the global political order. It argues that Russia’s humanitarian engagement in the region represents a distinct, non-hegemonic model of soft power, based on respect for state sovereignty, cultural and religious diversity, and long-term cooperation rather than normative pressure or value export. Particular attention is paid to the Soviet legacy in education, science, and culture and its continuing influence on Russia’s humanitarian practices in the Middle East today. The article analyzes key areas of Russia’s humanitarian policy, including educational and scientific cooperation, cultural diplomacy, humanitarian assistance, and interreligious dialogue, and compares them with the approaches of the United States, the European Union, and China. The study identifies the main structural constraints and challenges facing Russia’s humanitarian policy in the region and assesses its strategic prospects in the context of an emerging multipolar world.</jats:p>
