Abstract
<jats:p>The road network of the Krasnoyarsk Territory is one of the largest in the Russian Federation, reflecting the geographical and economic features of the region. Optimization of the development of the regional road network at the present stage consists in participation in large-scale federal and regional targeted programs and national projects. This allows us to attract significant financial resources, focus efforts on priority areas and provide an integrated approach to the modernization of the entire network. The current state of the Krasnoyarsk Territory's road infrastructure is characterized by significant progress in the development and modernization of major highways, especially federal and key regional ones, but serious structural problems remain. The main problems include that paved and well-maintained roads are concentrated along the main thoroughfares and only in the southern part of the region, and the network of local roads in rural areas and small towns is in poor condition due to insufficient funding.</jats:p>
