Abstract

<jats:p>The collection of documents of the Museum of Armenian Ethnography owns valuable papers donated by Barsegh Tughlachyan (1933–2016, Istanbul, Armenian philologist, lexicographer: in Turkish press and literature known as Pars Tukhlaci). Among them are certificates issued to graduates and students of Armenian educational institutions, dating from the fourth quarter of the 19th to the first quarter of the 20th centuries. They provide an exceptional opportunity to become familiar with the educational system of this period, subjects, grading scales, scholarships, and in some cases encouraging awards.</jats:p>
