Abstract
A significant part of Komitas’s archive makes his personal library. It includes monographs, scores, textbooks and manuals, collections and other literary, musical and musicological works. 32 of these stock units contain handwritten notes by Komitas. They are either ordinary underlinings, brief translations, comments on the text of the book, or extensive thoughts written down on the margins of a book and sometimes – on separate sheets of paper with the manuscript. As a result of the re-registration of the fund in the Yeghishe Charents Museum of Literature and Art, many of these pages were transferred to the manuscript department of the archive, but some of them remained in the books and thus were missed by the specialists studying the handwritten heritage of Komitas.
