Abstract
<jats:p>The famous art historian, ethnographer, scientist, experienced specialist in the field of decorative and applied arts and art history, teacher, statesman and public figure, Honored Worker of Culture of the Armenian SSR Serik Stepanovna Davtyan (1893-1978) upon her return from exile in 1946 brought with her an object that she never parted with throughout her life. This is a fabric pincushion in the shape of a doll (stylized). The object was originally intended for storing needles. This is the only object made and preserved by S. Davtyan during the years of repression, created in a camp for female prisoners (used throughout its life).</jats:p>
