Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of structural features of Urartian art. The subject is relevant, because the studies on Urartian art are still incomplete, thereby necessitating specialized research by art historians. The analysis of Urartian art aesthetics and iconography requires a more thorough examination using a methodology that is specifically used in the art studies. It is necessary to consider the development of aesthetic and ideological problems from an art historian’s viewpoint and, while maintaining scientific approaches related to archaeological monuments, to make a theoretical analysis of the iconography and symbolism of different types of fine art.
