Abstract
Since its emergence, photography has deeply rooted itself in Armenian culture, evolving into a unique art form that records and preserves reality while supporting scientific fields. Over time, it has become an integral part of daily life, capturing and eternalizing the material and cultural values of different eras. A photograph can depict not only images or objects but also abstract phenomena, giving physical form to our perceptions. Today, photography is inseparable from nearly all spheres of life, from art to science. In artistic photography, elements such as mood, composition, light and shadow, and the photographer’s perspective play a crucial role. The transition from documentary to artistic photography has been made possible by the photographer’s creative vision and technical expertise. Technological advancements, especially reducing the time needed to capture an image to mere seconds, have also played a key role in the development of photography as a mature and multifaceted art form.
